Jacob Kahn

Mr. Kahn has been with USA Karate since 2008 and began instructing in 2013. He was a leader among the Anoka AllStars competition and demo team before turning his focus toward individual competition. Mr. Kahn is known for his weapons forms including advanced bo, double bo, and extreme form. In the Twin Cities, he is a leader in Weapons and Extreme Form divisions, receiving numerous Grand Champions. He is a 2013 NASKA World Top 10 member, he is currently nationally ranked among the best in cmx (creative, musical and extreme) divisions, and has the privilege and honor to now compete with his Martial Arts role models. Mr. Kahn enjoys competing throughout the country whenever his busy schedule will allow. Besides being the head instructor at Woodbury, he teaches Wednesday nights at the Anoka USA Karate location and gives many private lessons. Mr. Kahn is a skilled choreographer. He's helped many students achieve success in weapons and extreme form competition by putting together smart and appealing routines.

Solange Olivier

2nd Degree Black Belt
Ms. Olivier began karate in March of 2011. She received her black belt in 2014. She started teaching in late 2016. She has won a state championship and competes nationally, and is a 2017 NASKA World Top Ten member. Ms. Olivier specializes in extreme forms, creative nunchucks, and creative bo. She also enjoys helping people prepare for tournaments. Additionally, she is a member of Team Kesshin, a nationally competitive sport karate team. Even though she is consistently travelling to karate tournaments, she values academics and continues to maintain honor roll status at her high school. Ms. Olivier enjoys working with the Superkids and Juniors classes. She enjoys watching them learn as well as helping them achieve their goals.
